Keeping Lubed Up
Your bicycle needs regular lubrication to help it run smoothly and reduce component wear.
First of all, before applying any lubricants, you need to wash your electric bicycle and keep the electric bicycle clean. When it comes to lubrication, the most important item is your chain. If it feels dry to the touch or starts to become noisy, you need to use a suitable chain lubricant for lubrication.
Other parts of electric bicycles also require regular lubrication, such as brake pivot points, cables and derailleurs. Allow the lubricant to penetrate for a period of time, it will help to move the components, and then wipe off the excess lubricant with a cloth. This will help keep the electric bicycle clean.
