I have had my Emma 3.0 for a few weeks. Absolutely love riding to work and adventuring around town. Most ebikes have issues with hills, this ebike will surprise you. The Nm are amazing!
Emma 3.0 is a smooth ride, as an over 50yo, it makes bike riding a thrill again. I can get exercise without overextending and use the throttle when needed. Admittedly, the throttle ride is fun too!
Getting ready to do a bike trip Daytona Beach Florida to key West and then to Mexico this is a beautiful easy writing bike everyone should have one
Got our Roll Road Emma 3.0 2 weeks ago. Love everything about it. It looks great, rides smooth and is everything we were looking for in a e-bike. I can ride it by myself or with my wife on the back. The alloy foot pegs are perfect for her. We purchased the trunk and it holds both of our helmets. Our bike came 2 days after we purchased it and was pretty easy to assemble. We had a couple of questions and Roll Road texted us info immediately with the answers. Would definitely recommend for someone that is looking for a bike for one person or two!
Emma 3.0 has exceeded my expectations. Great ride, incredible battery life.
Our summer holiday was truly unforgettable, thanks in no small part to the Emma 3.0 eBike. We embarked on an adventurous road trip with my son, his wife, and their three kids, driving our RV through some of the most stunning destinations in the West: Zion Canyon and Bryce Canyon in Utah, and Mammoth Lakes, CA. The Emma 3.0 proved to be the perfect companion for our journey.
In Zion Canyon, the bike's powerful motor and smooth pedal assist were invaluable. We could easily navigate the parks diverse terrain, from steep inclines to rugged paths, without feeling overexerted. The kids had a blast riding alongside us, and the bike's stability and control gave us peace of mind.
Bryce Canyon was equally spectacular. The Emma 3.0s long-lasting battery allowed us to spend the entire day discovering the canyon's unique landscapes without worrying about running out of power. The bike's versatility was evident as we transitioned from scenic viewpoints to forested trails.
Our visit to Mammoth Lakes was a highlight. Its cushioned seat and ergonomic design ensured comfort during our explorations around the lake and the surrounding mountains. We could effortlessly switch between different riding modes to suit the terrain, making each ride enjoyable for the whole family.
I recently took delivery on my Emma 3.0 and spent a few hours getting everything assembled and fine tuned. I was a bit skeptical about Emma's hill climbing ability, but hoped that she was up to the task when it came to handling my normal 20+ mile loop on the mountainous terrain of Berks County, PA. I have now taken a few short rides and a 20+ mile ride, and so far, I am impressed. The Emma 3.0 has an exceptional ride with it's tunable front and rear suspension. The bike handles well and most importantly, is quite capable handling all of the hills that I encounter on my normal ride. The battery life seems quite good as well with the two 20 ah battery packs. I don't expect to get the 100 - 150 mile range advertised because of the terrain that I normally ride, but it is more than adequate for my needs. Further testing will reveal how far I can actually go. Roll -Ride has definitely hit the mark with the Emma 3.0.
The Emma 3.0 is an easy to ride, comfortable and fast ebike with plenty of power for any incline. The ease of use is wonderful - the colorful display is bright and easy to navigate through various information screens. I love the cruise control, especially during long rides it really makes a difference (no wrist pain). The Emma 3.0 is a quality ebike made premium components.
The Roll Ride customer service is EXCELLENT. Any question I had was answered promptly and professionally (with videos to help).
I would not hesitate to recommend the Emma 3.0 to family and friends.
I love the quality of this bike and the softness of the seat and I love how secure and good quality the trunk is. The fast quick charging and long lasting battery are amazing. Also love how easy the assembly for the entire bike was.
Last week I received my EMMA 3.0 ebike via FedEx truck. Received in good condition as the bike packaging was done well. I and my wife assembled it in our garage without fighting. The tool kit provided was adequate to setup. The Roll Road YouTube installation videos were very helpful. We watched it couple of times in slow speed. The installation was mostly straightforward without much hiccups for beginners like me who are not used to installing stuff. The NFC smart card for start and stop is cool. There is a nice mobile sized display monitor on the bike which shows key parameters. The twin batteries can be locked with key and are detachable and easy to charge separately and also when on ebike. Only one charger was provided, so need to charge one and then the next. The moped style eBike looks classy on setup. I test rode the bike. The throttle is fine and as you up from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5.., the speed picks up well. I have not unlocked it yet. I was able to able to ride on road and trails. Good thing was, it can bear load of me and my wife and we can both ride together. It comes with a long seat which i have ordered along with the trunk. This would provide enough seating space for me and my wife. We can go for grocery shopping and keep the stuff in the trunk which is big enough and sturdy with lock. I took it out for summer music concerts in nearby state park. The place i stay is full of rolling hill. EMMA was able to carry me up the hills, some of which have steep incline. The brakes are good. It has turn indicators and horn, and bright front light and reflectors in the back, all of which are needed for safety while driving on the roads. It does not come with rear view mirror, which is also needed. Its an accessory that can be ordered. The bike torque senses and assists you as you start to peddle so that's helpful, as you do not need to put lot of pressure on your knees. I can also just use the throttle without peddling. It has long range. I was looking for ebike which can carry me and spouse, has long range, with storage space to keep our grocery or shopping stuff and does not put load on my knees while riding. EMMA 3.0 meets all this need. The roll road support also mentioned that you do not even need license or registration to ride this ebike. I rode a few times and plan to ride more and explore the features and capabilities of this ebike in different conditions. Looks like a good solid bike. Few of my Neighbours who saw it were also very interested.
I recently purchased the Roll Road Ebike EMMA 3.0. I’m a large guy and was looking
for a robust design ebike. I couldn't be happier with my choice. The bike was easy to assemble, high quality built and a very large comfortable seat. The battery life is impressive, allowing me to enjoy long rides without worrying about running out of power. Great looking bike, this bike is fun to ride. Look forward to many outings in the future.
My wife and I needed an electric bike to hold our adult size baby boy and the Emma is serving its purpose perfectly! Very fast very fun and very heavy duty it's hitting all the points and making riding through town and off-road very fun. Long battery life and charges quickly. We love it!
For the past two weeks that I had this bike I can not get enough of it. This bike is certainly one of the better E bikes in my collection for sure! And the service was top tier the second I had a issue with the bike (the throttle wasn't working) the company in a instant sent me a new pair and it was the most thoughtful thing ever and they would give me daily updates about my bikes shiping location just so I couldn't be considered about it getting lost through out the way. I truly love the Emma 3.0 E bike and it was most definitely worth buying it.
This is a way awesome bike! Hubby and kids love it! We had a great weekend, a lot of fun. Will buy a second one soon, a white one! So we can have a family trip and have a ton of fun! Hell of a ride! Best summer ever!
My Emma bike is my new favorite ‘toy’. Good looking with all the features and accessories that I need and want. What I like most is how secure I feel riding it in NYC traffic. The size, weight , and speed easily take me over ramps and bridges. Riding along the East River is just as lovely.
I bought my Emma3.0 after my buddy Chuck M told me it was a great bike and would fit me just right. So I took his word for it and bought a white Emma3.0 and Love it. The comfort, the distance, for someone my age 68 with both knees, hip, ankle, and back surgeries, it is so easy to get on and off and ride a long distance with comfort.I would recommend this bike to everyone. You won't be disappointed - guaranteed.
Thanks to Emma I went on a trail today I haven't been on for about 35 years. While the Emma 3.0 couldn't do the biggest hills (in the woods, rocky roads) it helped me visit an old camping area.
It is doing what I wanted it to do... getting me out and rolling on the old roads around here.
Very solid design, might be the moped ebike you are looking for!
Bryce Canyon with both bikes out. friends, even people randomly passing by are interested in this bike and asking me about it. Bikes performance are very good and it can fits in with the beautiful scenery pretty well. I think it looks good and can meet most of my needs during the trip, very satisfied with it!
RollRoad Emma 3.0 review:
I tend to write too much so I will try to make it useful.
-about me: 6’4” and 225 lb with years of on/off road motorcycle experience
-the area I live in: very hilly, mountain roads, steep hills, trails
-the quick: this thing is fun. It goes! 35 mph is possible but I tend to average about 25-30mph in my area. It slows down on steep hills but hasn’t failed me yet on main roads, secondary roads, and logging roads. I have used it on a few trails but this isn’t really meant for that kind of riding.
-some details: directional, headlight, taillight, horn… all great features
—two batteries: work well and hold a great charge. I can’t get the 150 miles range but, to be fair, the folks at RollRoad told me before buying that the 150 mile claim is on flat ground/roads. I totally believe it could do that on smooth/flat terrain. I get out 60 miles of real world riding in my area (big hills and dirt roads)
-brakes are nice disc brakes. They work well
-suspension is more than adequate
-at top speed I get a little wobble from the front tire almost like it is unbalanced but I adjusted the fork compression and that made difference (softened it)
-seat: I am going to get the longer seat because I am a little tall for the standard seat and sit back too far on it so the extra seat length will be useful.
-rack: very nice and useful. A little trouble lining up the bolts but all good in the end.
-wheels/tires: great on roads, dirt, sand, light mud.
-would I recommend this? Yes. I would also like friends and family to get one.
-does it replace an off road conventional gas dirt bike? No, that is not its purpose.
It is definitely a good moped with some off-road capabilities. It won’t go 30MPh up hills but it won’t quit on you, either. The torque sense pedaling works really well. There were only two trails I just couldn’t go up. To be honest it would have been difficult on a 175cc enduro motorcycle, too. Straight up, rocky terrain. This is not meant for that.
-pedaling: you have to use the pedal assist. The gear is fixed in a higher speed setting. This does not have selectable gears. So pedaling without the assist from a stop is very difficult. This is not meant for that in my opinion.
-you can pedal and get some light exercise while the bike does about 14mph
-I really like it! It is that perfect in between a bicycle and a full motorcycle. Do you want to have a leisurely ride on a nice day? This is your bike!
-This would be awesome in a city, too!
-customer support: excellent and very quick to respond with helpful ideas.
That’s it! Enjoy your’s when you get it. Push it to its limits and see what fun you can have.
The Emma 3.0 is well thought out, well built and fun to use. It is safe and sturdy and gets us places! I highly recommend this e bike because if its quality, ease of set up, its appearance and because it is fun to ride!
Ever since I lost my old e bike in the fire I've been saving and looking for its replacement. It took me about an hour to put it together and I've been riding ever since The Emma 3.0 has gone above and beyond my expectations The liner curve of pawer makes it super easy to ride. The shocks and big tires makes it a breeze riding urban or off road. The range is perfect for me i can ride it back and forth to work several times between charges. It is so well built. and sturdy i would trust it with any terrain, If you are on the fence get over here its worth every penny.
We've had a lot of rainy weather which makes riding not ideal. But I'm already almost at 300 miles in the week I've had it, despite pouring rain and severe storms most days. I've still been riding and have found it to handle quite well. it's worthy of riding in all weather. So far the riding experience has been fine, Im really enjoying it. There's also a Shark here in town; managed to get pictures with it too.
I have a black and a white Emma, brought the black one to our trip to Zion Canyon and Bryce Canyon. The riding experience has been very comfortable, suitable for riding on all terrain, highway, mountain road and climbing hills. and the long seat allows two people ride together. To be honest, riding an Ebike in the summer is more comfortable than driving a car, and you'd be able to go to more places and enjoy more scenery. Great riding experience, even recommended EMMA to friends I met on my travels, hope everyone can have a chance to try it.
I ordered the Emma 3.0 Ebike a week ago and it was shipped out that day. It was delivered in less than a week. That was impressive. It wasn't very difficult to assemble, the videos they sent in the email really help alot. I added some accessories from my old Ebike to customize it to how i wanted it. I love the 450 lb. payload limit. The 4 piston hydraulic breaks seem to work great. I really love the 4 inch color display, and the price was awesome considering all the features you get. I needed an ebike with a long range and this has it with the dual 20 Ah batteries. I had a couple questions about the Ebike. The customer service texted me back right back right away, they were very knowledgeable and courteous. The NFC smart key is a great feature too. I also love the lockable storage trunk that I ordered too. For the price this is awesome ebike. ❤️
Im 282 lbs. and the Emma 3.0 took me to 33.9 mph before I had to slow down to the next intersection; I could have hit 35+ mph. I bought this bike for pleasure with a maximum capacity of 450 lbs, duel brakes, duel shocks, and duel batteries, you get plenty of bike for the cost. Amy, with Roll Road, gave great support with any questions I had for her. The videos to assemble the bike were excellent. I know I will get many years of pleasure with this gem. Thanks Roll-Road!
